Spending a cold evening on a north coast beach in October may not be everyone’s idea of fun. In fact, until the rain lifted, I didn’t think it was going to be mine either. The two lads in tonight’s snaps, @lancorz and @samf90, put on a very talented show for the small gathering at the White Rocks beach near Portrush. They’ve been snapping and filming themselves as part of an ongoing project, while they fling a variety of incendiaries around themselves.
Also in attendance tonight was chum @jasebell who joined me in a variety of jealous looks at the huge gear* (*not a euphemism) of Alan Hook, who brought with him enough shooting stuff to require Sherpas. I look forward to seeing the results of that.
Shooting this kind of picture is not without its difficulties, and some turned out well, some could have been better, and frankly, I fluffed quite a lot of them, but I’m pleased with how those presented here have turned out. I look forward to having an opportunity to snap them again soon. I’d like to thank the lads, the two other Pauls, and the others in attendance who made an outsider feel very welcome.
You can find out more about Lance Wilson here and Sam Forson here or follow them on Twitter under @lancorz and @samf90.

Great layering!
Excellent photos! I like the first one the best.
